FUNDRAISING BOOK TO HELP BEAT BOWEL CANCER
Lives & Times Portrait Photography Book
Reading,
Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer
killer in the UK, but if detected early over 90% of cases can be successfully
treated. Tim’s mother was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2012 and had her
fourth operation at the beginning of 2015, and made a complete recovery.
However as the book neared its completion in October 2015 the cancer has come
back once again, and his mother has to face another course of treatment.
Over the course of 18 months he met and photographed people from all
walks of life to form the chapters of Lives
& Times. Every single person taking part in this book has given up
their own time to do it and all funds raised from the sales of the book are
being donated to the charity. The stunning photography takes a closer look at
the energy and dynamism of human beings and the joy in life when energy and
health are as one.
Some of the celebrities taking part
include, Sir Steve Redgrave, Katherine Grainger, Lorraine Kelly, Gabby Logan,
Christopher Biggins, and Matthew Wright.
Tim said, “Every chapter tells a different
story, and it was fascinating to see how they unfolded. Whether I was meeting a
celebrity or an ordinary person, I found that everyone has a tale to tell and
all are stars of the book.”
